Hantamah bint Hāshim ibn al-Mugheerah

Hantamah bint Hāshim ibn al-Mugheerah was the wife Al-Khattāb ibn Nufayl and the mother of Ameer al-Mu’mineen, Umar ibn Al-Khattab. She was the paternal cousin of Abu Jahl ibn Hishām, but some have said she was the sister of Abu Jahl with the former being the most popular view amongst historians. _{Awwaliyāt al-Fārooq by al-Qurashi, p. 22}
