by Ikrimah ibn Amr ibn Hisham (Arabic: عكرمة) was a member of the Quraysh and belonged to the clan of Banu Makhzum. He was also known as Ikrimah ibn Abu Jahl.
Family
His father was Abu Jahl. He was the nephew of Khalid ibn al-Walid as well as his closest friend.[1]
